Hey, precious friend! Welcome to Caregiver’s Keeper. I’m Sunshine, and I can’t wait to share all that I can to hopefully help you be the most awesome (and carefree) caregiver and you that you can be! As caregivers, we have to keep track of a plethora of information, and sometimes, resources can be nearly impossible to find. That is why I’m here.
I have been a caregiver for over a decade. Through medication changes, service provider fiascos, behavior plan blunders, and more, I have survived and learned. I’m still learning (sometimes over a much longer process than I would like). What I have gleaned out of these many years of raising a special needs child, however, I would like to impart to you.
This website will contain resources from behavioral plans, to organization, to self care. I will be providing as quickly and thoroughly as I can a decade’s worth of information, and searching hard for more resources for us. I am here to support you caregivers. I am here to try to make your life just a little easier.
My desire is also for this to become an encouraging and informational community for us caregivers. Please explain to me via email what you would like to learn about, resources that you know of, and what your experience as a caregiver has been. I would love to start sharing our stories to support and encourage one another. Thank you for what you do- you are needed! Now, enjoy some resource exploration!
